NIRO Education successfully hosted the second edition of the NIRO Career Guidance and University Readiness Conference on 16-17 July 2024. The event attracted over 1,000 learners from various schools in and around Windhoek. The increased participation this year demonstrates the growing recognition of the significance of the Career Guidance and University Readiness Conference.
With this year’s theme, ‘Embracing Future Skills,’ the conference delved deeper into Namibia’s emerging markets and future jobs. It offered valuable insights and addressed critical skills gaps, ensuring that learners could make informed decisions regarding their career choices.
Learners were equipped with tools to position themselves effectively and explore career paths within various industries in the country, such as oil, gas, green hydrogen, and IT, among others.
